The "useless" parts, for this rocket anyway.

1st is the 38mm motor mount tube and the centering rings for it, I'm going with a 54mm motor mount so I can run motors up to the Loki L1400.

2nd would be the launch lug. I've got a bunch of rail buttons, and as far as I'm concerned launching from a rail is far superior to using a rod for the simple fact of the matter that the rails don't flex the way rods do. I've seen too many rods flex to the point that the rocket launching goes way off in a direction that no one wants to see it going in.

3rd is the shock cord, LOC includes a long piece of elastic with their kits. I personally am not about to put elastic in a rocket.
